Headwaters Academy Parent Organization
The Headwaters Parent Organization (HPO) is made up of parents looking to support our school’s mission of building confident, capable leaders for a changing world . . . and we would love for YOU to join us! We specifically support the school in the following areas:
Community Building
Planning grade level social events for parents and families including coffee mornings, bowling afternoons and parent nights out.
Field Study Fundraising
Organizing student-first fundraisers to support the 8th grade Field Study trip. This has included car washes, grocery bagging, a snack cart, Serve-a-thon and more.
Staff Appreciation
Our staff are what make our school AMAZING and we like to celebrate them wherever and whenever possible with gifts, food and most of all, sincere gratitude!
Volunteering
With an outgoing, experiential curriculum, the opportunities for parent chaperones or extra support pop up from time to time and we work to help make sure those needs are met.

The support system I had during my time at Headwaters and the resources that were constantly available to me were the most helpful in preparing me for my future. As a student there, you're consistently encouraged to try new things and step out of your comfort zone, and I don't think that is a common trait among other schools. The teachers genuinely care about you and want to see you succeed in your own way. That is what ultimately led to my decision to pursue my education abroad, so I'm especially grateful for that aspect of Headwaters!
